Hotel Eliot is built.

Architect: J.J. Besarick. Also known as the Eliot Hotel, it is designed in the High Gothic style and located at 68 Bartlett Street in Eliot Square. The first grand apartment hotel in Roxbury, it is destroyed by fire on November 13, 1982.
